White Aluminum Oxide is Main raw material is Bayer alumina, which is electrically fused at high temperature.
It is white and its hardness is higher, but its toughness is lower than that
of brown fused alumina. Abrasive tools which are made of it, are suitable for grinding
of high carbon steel, high speed steel and chilled steel. It can also be
used as polishing materials and precision founding sand, spraying and coating materials, catalyst carriers, special ceramics and super refractory materials.
